Getting it’s start in 2001, The Friendly Flamingo Tournament (FFT) is an annual fishing tournament hosted within Everglades National Park. It is an exciting one day event where anglers compete to catch the most combined inches in Tarpon, Snook, Redfish & Seatrout.
The FFT is proud to have raised over $14,000 throughout the tournaments history for the South Florida National Parks Trust. These funds go towards supporting projects that protect and restore the Everglades. A portion of the entry fees are used to help pay for prizes, our awards banquet, and other tournament expenses. Every dollar is returned to the event.
